Man, I love NPR .. you have to feel me on this, NPR is the only talk radio station on FM in my area. For some reason i cannot pick up AM. but lately , as usual, they have some great interviews.

This morning i heard about the CueBot. Its a device invented by this cat in Britain. Basically, its a pager you pay for that is cued up to a line. It will tell you when you are ahead of the line. So if you are waiting on a line, you can go buy something to eat and what not. It will countdown the minutes you have left. Then when it's almost your time, you can head to the front of the line. Currently Great Adventures parks use it in the United States. The inventor is trying to get Disney to set up a contract.

After you pay your ticket at Great Adventures, you can rent a Cuebot for $60. it sort of gives you head of the line privileges for all of the rides. You can rent a Gold Cueboy for a little more and it puts you ahead of everyone else. They did not get into any more detail, but that was the gist of it.

Here we see how capitalism works again. If you got the dough, flaunt it. "Let's not be like the peasants and wait in line." Some say this is democracy at work. I don't think so. Democracy is supposed to be political not economic. It is not class privilege. Some will say that i am saying this because I am poor. I am poor. But i don't see this as a beef between a have and a have not, i find it to be a bribe. "Here's an extra sixty bucks to let me skip everyone else..."

or is it? Or am i running out of things to complain about?
